How is the list maintained?

The set of indexed exchanges is curated to cover the centralised exchanges most likely to be encountered by EEA-resident retail users. Each entry maps to a public ESMA register lookup (when authorised) or to an explicit "not in register" verdict (when absent). The list is reviewed monthly; additions follow appearances in EEA user reports, regulator publications and app-store Finance-category rankings. Source: The Crypto Register methodology.
