Who is the regulator for crypto exchanges in Spain?
The National Competent Authority of Spain is responsible for MiCA authorisation and ongoing supervision of crypto-asset service providers domiciled there.
Can an exchange authorised in Spain serve users in other EEA countries?
Yes. Under MiCA Article 65, an authorisation issued by the Spain regulator allows passporting of services across all 30 EEA member states, subject to notification.
