What does "Order R&T" mean under MiCA?
"Order R&T" is one of ten crypto-asset services defined in Article 3(1)(16) of Regulation (EU) 2023/1114. Authorisation for this service requires the entity to meet MiCA's prudential, conduct, and disclosure requirements specifically tailored to that service category.
Can a MiCA authorisation for one service be passported across the EEA?
Yes. Under Article 65 MiCA, an authorisation issued by a National Competent Authority enables passporting across all 30 EEA member states, subject to a notification process to each host-state regulator.
